After a great year riding the best mid sized bike in the world, I sold it and moved to one that is more comfortable for the better half. Originally, I intented that my significant other would learn to ride it but alas she would only ride behind. I got a 2001 Spirit 1100 and she is a beaut. Much better for two.
I will miss the Suzi. After removing the white spacer, drilling the air screw and adding a Jardine muffler she was not the same. She no longer backfired and she ate 883 Sportsters for dinner. Riding double she would accelerate at 70 like there was no tomorrow. All in all it was a great year on a great bike and especially enjoyed the great folks on this forum.
Both the motorcycle info and the politics were to my liking. Keep the rubber side down.
